ReedValley offers a unique wine tasting experience in the heart of the world-famous Garden Route. At our venue, you can sample exclusive export wines that we expertly pair with traditional Portuguese cuisine. Cosy up in front of our oversized fireplace on cold days or soak up the sun on our expansive lawn during the summer months.
A kids’ play area will keep the little ones entertained for hours while mom and dad enjoy a glass of our world-famous ReedValley wine.

First owned by the Muller family, the homestead built in 1826 remains as a testimony of time, still holding its own as a destination where superior experiences are not the exception, but the rule. During the 1800s, the farm was known as an oasis to weary travellers going east and it often served as a gathering place for the early settlers. This bountifulness is still reflected today at ReedValley where hospitality and unparalleled experiences are a way of life.

After stumbling across this wine farm, we had a really great time at the wine tasting with Peter! A quick snack in the gardens before a tasting is highly recommended. Good craft beer too 🙂

I would like to thank ReedValley (especially our host, Peter) for making this day memorable.
If they take their reviews seriously, I would like to tell ReedValley that Peter is surely an asset for them.
We got to learn so much about wines, south african culture and cuisine. The blends of the wines were simply amazing.
The dessert wines were our favorite and we would love to get some bottles delivered to our country soon.

We visited Reed Valley on New Years Day (so happy it was open), when it was an overcast and windy day. It was the perfect place to spend time – wine tasting, jungle gym for the kids, and great food for the family. We did our wine tasting with Francois – what a gem. So knowledgeable and personable, it made the tasting interesting and we felt like VIPs (we wish him the best for his wine studies in Portugal)). Food is tasty and simple, order from the kiosk. Outside seating is under a tent, and the kids’ jungle gym is close by.
